Exploring Bangkok's Vibrant Streets and Temples
Daytime frames from Bangkok 🇹ðŸ‡
This is where it all started and ended, the city that changed my mind on big cities. For the record, I still prefer being secluded and in nature, but if I have to be in a city this is the one I’m choosing! The friendly people, bold culture, extraordinary temples, and home to the almighty Thai 7-Eleven toasties😎 practicing some street photography was a huuuge difference from the landscapes I’m used to. I had such a blast walking miles on miles capturing it all and stopping to talk to people along the way. Some of the conversations were really hard. Bangkok, like most massive cities, has a large problem with poverty. The mother and her son in the 4th slide can’t even afford a second pair of clothes. I saw her begging on the corner and asked another local to please come translate for me. Unlike many children who’s parents leave them on a corner to beg alone, she stays with her son because he is all she has— she told me. We had a wonderful conversation! I’m in a fortunate position where a small gift from my perspective was a massive blessing to them. I asked if I could share that photo with my friends and family, all she asked in return was for me to explain my tattoos as her son kept touching my arm in amazement haha. This is just one of the many special human interactions I was blessed to experience in this wonderful city🙂
Later this month I’ll show you what this city looks like after the sun goes down and the lights come on!
