Golden Thai Temple at First Light

One of the most visually appealing structures I’ve ever seen! The symmetry is so appealing🤙🏼 I came here last year and spent almost the whole day inside the park— it was a blast! Sadly, they no longer allow drones in the park so I wasn’t allowed to fly. Fast forward to this year, I had a free morning so I woke up at 4 and hopped on a scooter taxi to get there well before the park opened. My plan was to try and convince the after hours security to let me go in for a little extra money before the park opened to the public. He said I wasn’t allowed into the park… then, while cracking a smile, he said I just wasn’t allowed to fly from inside the park but I could find a place outside the park to take off from and “don’t take too long”— Somchai was his name, what a legend!! Hopped on Google maps and found a good spot, walked about 30 minutes and took flight from right in front of a families home front store. Just in time for first light to shimmer through! I can’t express how stoked I was💥 afterwards I thanked the store manager by buying a couple pad Thai’s and cookies which I took back over to give to Somchai and thank him again for helping me out! Ended up sitting with him, eating and chatting— can’t get enough of moments like this!
