Visiting the 9/11 Memorial and Museum
Visiting the 9/11 Memorial and Museum (๐๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐ค๐ง ๐๐ช๐ฉ๐ช๐ง๐ ๐ฉ๐ง๐๐ซ๐๐ก๐จ) This is quite the sobering experience but one that I felt like was important for my kids to see and learn more about. Near the museum are two reflecting pools that are footprints to where the twin towers once stood ~ a beautiful and sacred place.
What you will see inside the museum: Displays throughout and two main exhibits.
โจThe first exhibit has rooms where all of the names of each individual, who lost their lives, are listed out and tells many of their stories.
โจThe second exhibit explains the events of that terrible day and the motives behind the attack. It is emotional and heavy but very well done.
โจI would plan on at least two hours to walk around the reflecting pools and museum. โจThe current cost is $28 per person.
Have you been here before? Is this somewhere you would take your kids?
