Sweet 16th Birthday at Gucci Restaurant

Most teenagers wouldn’t even know this place exists, but part of getting through the long days of quarantine when Covid was at its worst 2 years ago, my daughter researched places she wanted to go someday. One of the things on her list was the Gucci Restaurant in Beverly Hills. An experience that fascinated her! We decided to make one of her dreams come true for her sweet 16th birthday. It’s one of those “once in a lifetime” kind of experiences ~ mostly because I don’t know if I could ever pay that much for one meal again😅 But what an experience!! . We had a five course meal that was absolutely incredible! Before each course, the waiter cleared the table and set out new silverware, then brought the food out and placed it in front of us while explaining the dish and the story behind it. Every item on the menu has a story as to why it was chosen for the restaurant and the process to create it. The waiter spoke in an Italian accent and it felt as though we were being served in a European country. Talk about fine dinning!
