Tips for Preventing Seasickness on Cruises
✨Tips for preventing seasickness✨ Have you ever considered going on a cruise but you were worried about getting seasick? Here are a few ideas that may help… (save for future travels)
.
⛴Take a short cruise- especially if it’s your first time, try a 3 or 4 night cruise to start then you can see how your body will react.
⛴ Book a room at the back of the ship- there is less movement back there. This is especially important because most of the traveling at higher speeds is done during the night hours, so you want to wake up feeling good!
⛴ Try a motion sickness patch or wristband- a patch can be worn behind your ear during travel and the wristband around your wrist to reduce nausea through pressure points.
⛴Try Ginger Ale and a nap- the ginger and carbonation can help with seasickness and taking a nap can allow you to relax and sleep it off.
⛴ Most importantly, if you feel sick move to the back of the boat, for the same reasons you want to book a room there. It really does make a difference!

✨The first time I went on a cruise, I was nervous about feeling sick because I get motion sickness easily, but I came prepared and ended up being totally fine. If your considering it, it’s definitely worth a try. Cruises are one of our favorite ways to travel!
