Backpacking Adventure on 'Survivalists' Show

Yes we were the last ones to finish packing! Can you see why?😆 Other than goofing around, we eventually got our backpacks put together with everything we would need for the next 4 days. We packed 2 tents, protein bars, MRE meals, sleeping bags, waste bags (yes we even carried that!😜), hats, clothes, water bottles, cooking stove, and head lamps. It was very difficult to get it all to fit in our bags and overwhelming to think of carrying it through the hot desert, not to mention the medic warning us of all the wildlife we might encounter along the way. I started to wonder “What have I gotten my family into!”😬 Luckily the only thing we didn’t have to pack in was the water. The crew set up water stations along the hike so we could refill a couple times a day.
