Rome Continues to Uncover Ancient History
What’s amazing is that even today, after centuries of digging and exploring, new ancient finds are still being discovered. Rome’s layout, with its roads, aqueducts, and underground tunnels, means that many ancient buildings, artifacts, and even whole neighborhoods stayed hidden for thousands of years. This history has been preserved beneath the modern city.
Whether through accidental finds during construction or planned digs, Rome continues to uncover pieces of its past, making the city feel like a living museum. It’s incredible!
I loved sharing this part of the world with my kids❤️
