Prioritizing Family and Faith Over Social Media
✨Honest Post✨ Today is a day of gratitude. Of all the things in my life I am grateful for, my family and my relationship with God is by far the most important. If those relationships are out of sync, then everything else feels out of place… BUT when those relationships are good, then everything else seems right in the world 🌎
So this week, as I’ve been thinking about the importance of these relationships, I’ve decided to spend less time on social media. Usually I’m on here every day, sharing our travels and adventures✈️ I’m going to be really honest with you though. The process of editing photos, making videos, writing captions, interacting with others online, working with brands, sharing in stories, and continuing to learn how to grow this account is time consuming!⏱ I lose track of time because I love it so much, but my time with family and my connection with God will always be most important.
So this holiday season❄️ I’m giving myself the gift of more time with them and less time online. I’ll still post every once in a while, but not as often.
What are the things that you truly value and how will you make time for them this holiday season?
