How to Plan Your Next Family Vacation

Since pretty much everywhere is on my list, how do I decide where we go next? These are the questions I go through when I’m making a plan. There’s so much to weigh in and consider! ❓Schedules: When do the kids have breaks from school? Can my husband get the time off work? ❓Time of year: What places will have nice weather but not be too crowded or overpriced during the busiest times of year? ❓Budget: How much do we want to spend? What other vacations are we planning during the year and how does it all fit into our budget? ❓Type of vacation: Are we feeling like a beach vacation, the mountains, city, or amusement park? ❓Distance: How much time do we have off? How far can we go? Road trip or airplane? I do a lot of research in each of these areas and then consult with my husband as I go.
