Nicholas Sparks Movie Location Tour

If you are a Nicholas Sparks fan like me, then North Carolina is full of gems!✨ Many of the Nicholas Sparks books take place on the coast of NC and most of the ones that have been adapted into movies, were filmed right here in the state. Before moving to North Carolina, I fell in love with this area from those movies - - the small town feel, tall trees, and beautiful coastline!💙 Since moving here, I’ve enjoyed going to some of the movie set locations and the beautiful beaches that are part of these stories. The photos in this post, were taken on one of the movie set locations for “Safe Haven”. The Old American Fish is a waterfront bar that was converted into Ivan’s Fish Shack ~ which is the restaurant that the main character, Katie, works at. You can find it in Southport at 150 Yacht Basin Dr. I was totally geeking out to be there!😍🤣 Other locations for this film are...
