New York City Subway Adventure

🚊Navigating the train/subway stations in New York! (𝙎𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙛𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙨) - - The train and subway systems are an adventure in and of themselves! It was our kids’ first time in an underground station and they were so excited (swipe to see my son’s reaction😆) The kids looked forward to this ride every morning as we traveled from our @airbnb in Jersey City to NYC ~ we felt like true New Yorkers!😍 🚊Train/subway tips… ✨If you are staying outside of Manhattan, check to see if they offer train passes. Some vacation rentals do! ✨The subway passes only allow 4 swipes per trip so you need another card if you are traveling with more than 4 people. We found this out the hard way!😅 ✨Check your route ahead of time! It can really complicate things if you hop on the wrong train/subway. We found this out the hard way too!😆 ✨Rather than saying north or south, in Manhattan they say “uptown” or “downtown”. It can describe the direction you’re traveling or specific coordinates… 📍Uptown- north of 59th St 📍Midtown- between 59th and 14th St 📍Downtown- South of 14th Traveling east and west is considered “crosstown” ✨Hope this is helpful!
