Finding My List Partner

Recently I was reading through my old journals and found an entry from when I was a teenager that listed out all the qualities I wanted to find in a man to marry. I had a lot of fun dating during those years but I never spent too much time dating someone that didn’t fit “my perfect guy”. It’s funny to look back and see some of the things that I wrote and amazing that I found someone that checked EVERY box on that list. Here was my list… ✔️Member of my church ✔️Close to the Lord and His gospel ✔️Great Smile😁 (he really does!) ✔️Good looking ✔️Lives high standards ✔️Has a lot of good goals ✔️Nice body💪 (haha I had my priorities straight!🤣) ✔️Taller than me ✔️Cares about others’ feelings ✔️Romantic❤️ ✔️Returned missionary ✔️Patient (he’s the most patient man I know!) ✔️Nice to everyone ✔️Likes to talk and work through problems (thank goodness he does!) ✔️Happy ✔️Laughs a lot ✔️Good sense of humor (he’s so witty AND hilarious!) It’s no wonder that I got married so young ~ at only 20 years old I knew I had found my man! 18 years later, we are still so in love💕 I’m so glad that I never settled and went after all the things that I wanted!
