Lessons for My Children

💛The older my kids get, the more I realize how short this time is that we have our children at home ~ to raise them and teach them everything we can, to prepare them for the world🌎 Lessons I hope they learn... 💛𝙏𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙙. We live in a world that can be very unkind. I hope they know it’s okay to disagree without being disagreeable. To love others and serve the people around them. 💛𝙏𝙤 𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙. I hope I have instilled in them a sense of wanderlust and excitement for new adventures. The world is full of them. 💛𝙏𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙮. Save some, spend wisely, be charitable, stay out of debt (except for a home and education), invest early. 💛𝙏𝙤 𝙥𝙪𝙩 𝙂𝙤𝙙 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨. He is a source of peace and love. Just like a loving parent, He is aware of our needs and wants what is best for us. 💛𝙏𝙤 𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥𝙨. Siblings can be their lifelong best friends if they take the time to cultivate those relationships. I hope they are close with each other like I am with my siblings! 💛𝙏𝙤 𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜. Learning doesn’t stop when school is finished. It is a life long pursuit and a very enjoyable one!
