Lake Powell Houseboat Adventure

Lake Powell (covering parts of Arizona and Utah) had been on my bucket list for years. I’d heard so many people rave about vacationing there, and every picture I saw looked absolutely stunning. Finally being there was like stepping into a dream—staying on a houseboat, surrounded by those iconic red cliffs, and spending the days immersed in water activities. We’ve been twice now, and it has become a place we absolutely love. Renting a houseboat is an adventure in and of itself. Luckily we had help driving the boat to the perfect secluded spot and anchoring it down in our own little corner of paradise. I would highly recommend going with someone who is experienced and paying the extra fee to have it anchored for you. That saved us the headache! Mornings on the lake were pure magic—the water was so still that riding the waverunners felt like skimming across a sheet of glass. And while mornings were incredible, the evenings were just as unforgettable. The sunsets transformed everything around us into a peaceful, glowing masterpiece. What an experience!
