Inside the Oculus Transportation Hub

Have you been to the Oculus before?🤩 (𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐬) I hadn’t heard of this building until we were visiting New York and at ground zero, looking over the reflecting pools, where the twin towers once stood. The white building looked so unique, with wings that have been likened to a dove and pure white. It looks nothing like the other buildings in NYC ~ we had to check it out and see what was inside! Turns out, it’s a train station, plaza, and mall - the third largest transportation hub in NYC, built to replace the PATH train station and other buildings that were destroyed when the twin towers fell. You don’t really think about the damage that was caused to the surrounding areas, but it’s amazing what they have done to build up this part of New York again🌇 *When you go, look through the roof in the center of the building ~ you can see the One World Trade Center.
