East Coast Blondies
The image depicts a serene nighttime scene by the water, with several residential buildings illuminated and reflected in the calm water surface. The buildings appear to be luxurious waterfront homes or perhaps a small resort, with a contemporary architectural style featuring large windows and balconies. A few boats are docked nearby, including a sailboat with its mast visible. The sky is shrouded in dark, ominous clouds, hinting at the possibility of an approaching storm or inclement weather. The overall atmosphere is tranquil yet slightly foreboding, creating a sense of anticipation and drama.

Ferry Ride Adventure

Sometimes the best memories are the ones that don’t turn out the way you plan.... this was definitely one of those!☺️ My daughter and I decided to take a last minute trip to an island that is only accessed by ferry. By the time we arrived at the port it was 10pm, freezing cold, and extremely windy. If you’ve heard of Gale warnings, this was one of those ~ high winds and probably not the best time to be taking a ferry 🤦‍♀️ We decided to sit on the upper deck for a view of the ocean at night - - bad idea!😆 The ferry rocked back and forth so much that it felt like we might fall right over the edge. We tried to move to the lower deck, but we were tossed around and knew it was just safer to stay put. We decided to sit on the floor to be lower to the ground, with our backs against the seating for more stability, and huddled together to stay warm. We laughed at the situation we found ourselves in, and the thought of the crew members seeing us curled up on the floor once we reached the other port. It was an adventure for sure and a memory we will never forget!😆 Have you had a travel disaster that you were able to laugh about? Sometimes it’s hard to find the humor in stressful situations but it sure can help you feel a little better! ✨Travel tip✨ Don’t take a ferry during a Gale warning!😉🤣 ➡️Follow our adventures @eastcoast.blondies
