Visiting Outer Banks Lighthouses

We love lighthouses!❤️ For this family trip, we visited 2 out of the 5 lighthouses on the Outer Banks ~ The Currituck Beach Lighthouse (pic #1) and Cape Hatteras Lighthouse (pic #2). The Outer Banks is a long chain of islands🏝off the coast of North Carolina, that stretches for 175 miles! When the lighthouses were built, each one was made to look very different, that way the sailors could easily determine where they were on the long stretch of islands. The Cape Hatteras Lighthouse is one of my favorites!💕 The black and white stripes make it one of the most recognizable and famous lighthouses in the world!🌎 Have you been?
