Replica 1607 Ships at Jamestown Settlement
This is a beautiful re-creation of the ships that brought the first permanent settlers to America in 1607. There are 3 of them: the Discovery, Godspeed, and Susan Constant. Only one of them is currently open due to covid, but it is really fun to hop on board and explore.
.
If you haven’t seen our previous posts of the Jamestown Settlement Museum in Virginia, check out the last 3 posts and save this one for future reference, as we will have a lot of info.

Museum tips....
* I would recommend a full day here, there is so much to do!
.
*The indoor museum is open from 9-5, with the living museum open from 10-4:30.
.
*Masks are currently required for the indoor museum and optional for the outdoor experiences, as it is easy to social distance.
.
*Combine this ticket with the American Revolution Museum (I will post about this one tomorrow) as a combo ticket, to get the best value for your money and experience both museums.
.
Enjoy time to learn in a fascinating, fun environment. Keep exploring!
