Appreciating Nature's Beauty
Took a 2 hour walk on the beach 🏝 and focused on all of the beauty around me ~ from the ocean sounds, to the little birds scurrying to catch crabs, to the darling beach homes lining the shores, and the beautiful views from the pier ~ enjoyed being fully in the moment! 💙💙💙
It can be easy to get distracted with the busyness of life and miss out on all the beauty that surrounds us✨
I starting reading a book 📖 called “Mindfulness~ Finding Peace in a Frantic World” and one of the chapters talks about how most of us live our lives on autopilot, going through the motions from day to day, but our minds are elsewhere. The same chapter gives you a brain exercise to do, to put your mind fully in the moment and to appreciate the beauty and wonder in even the littlest things. As we practice this, we can learn to be more fully present with the people around us and in the things that matter most.💕
So, take in a deep breath and notice all the beauty around you today, no matter what challenges you may be facing. It’s good for the soul!💙
