Day Trip to Vashon and Maury Islands Near Seattle

If you’re visiting Seattle, take a day trip to Maury Island and Vashon Island! 𝙆𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙗𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙜𝙤: (save for future travels) 🏝It’s just a 20 min drive from Seattle to the Fauntleroy Ferry that will take you to Vashon Island. 🏝You can drive right onto the ferry and then park your car so you can get out and enjoy the view from the boat deck. 🏝The 2 islands are connected by a small neck of land, so once you get to Vashon Island you can drive to Maury Island. 🏝Things to do: enjoy views of the Puget Sound, hiking trails, picnic areas, the Lighthouse at Point Robinson Park and driftwood on the beaches.
