2. City Explorations: Pick a city with free or low-cost attractions, such as museums and parks and stay for a weekend.
3. Road Trips: Drive rather than fly. Visit nearby attractions, landmarks, and scenic routes. Pack food for the road to save even more!
4. Staycations: Stay at a hotel or resort near you. You can save on plane tickets by exploring local attractions, parks, and restaurants, but still feel like you’re on vacation.
5. Beach Vacations: Beaches offer a variety of free activities that everyone can enjoy. You can save a lot of money by not staying directly on the beach, but still within walking distance.
6. Farm Stays: Stay on a working farm or ranch. It offers a chance to immerse yourself in rural life, learn about sustainable farming practices, and participate in various farm activities.
7. Cruises: 3-4 day cruises can be very affordable; plus it includes activities, food, accommodations, and destinations. So, you can just hop on a boat and the rest is taken care of for you.
