Biking Adventures on the USA East Coast

Biking is a great way to explore a new destination!🚴‍♀️ 3 of the most memorable places we’ve biked on the USA East Coast have been… (save for future travels) 📸Photo #1: Bald Head Island, North Carolina- an island where only bikes and golf carts are allowed on the roads ~ no cars! Bike to the beach, the “Old Baldy” lighthouse, to the small shopping market, past the beautiful coastal homes, to the restaurants by the marina, and ALL around the island🏝 📸Photo #2: Central Park, NYC- I definitely wouldn’t have thought to go biking in NYC with my kids, but Central Park is completely set apart from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the city. There is a road that circles all of Central Park for bikers only, with several lanes and even stoplights. Central Park is HUGE and there are so many stops to make along the way. Biking is a great way to see it all! 📸Photo #3: Outer Banks, North Carolina- this photo is of us riding to the location where the first plane took flight. This historical sight is pretty spread out, with the plane replica on one end and the location of the first flight and museum on the other. The large monument is in the center of it all, up on a hill that used to be a sand dune. Biking is a great way to get around and see this historical sight. Also, there are several bike paths around the Outer Banks to explore different cities in a safe way. ➡️Follow @eastcoast.blondies for more travel tips! . . .
