Wasson Peak: 🌵Take Gould Mine, Hugh Norris, and King Canyon Trail to create a trail loop. 🌄Length: 7.8 miles 📈Elevation Gain: 1,863 ft 🥾Difficulty: Moderate 🧭Recommendations: Bring lots of water to combat the desert heat and extra snacks! Safford Peak Trail: (also known as “Sombrero Peak”) 🌄Length: 3.5 miles 📈Elevation Gain: 1,505 ft 🥾Difficulty: Hard 🧭Recommendations: Not suitable for young kids. Dangerous drops and loose rocks. Trail: Pima Canyon Trail #62 🌄Length: 10.4 miles, out and back 📈Elevation Gain: 3,339 ft 🥾Difficulty: Hard 🧭Recommendations: Bring lots of water, sunscreen, and extra snacks. It’s a long one! Also wear waterproof hiking shoes. The trail passes over a stream during certain times of year. Picacho Peak Trail: via Hunter Trail 🌄Length: 2.8 miles out & back 📈Elevation Gain: 2,112 ft 🥾Difficulty: Hard 🧭Recommendations: Bring thin gloves to help you climb the cables.
