A Life of Travel and New Experiences

I hope that’s me! My life has been far from ordinary. As a kid, I moved around a lot, living in various cities across California before landing in Saipan—a tiny dot on the map. We spent a couple of years on this island and also moved to the Philippines for a time. Returning to the States was a culture shock; I didn’t even know what a mall was and spoke with a slight Chamorro accent. After my parents divorced, I moved to Indiana. Then, my mom remarried, and we relocated to Utah for my stepfather’s job. Eventually, I married and moved to Ohio for school, and later, to several other places including North Carolina, where I started this account. My diverse life experiences fueled my curiosity about the world and a deep desire to share different cultures and ways of living with my kids, which meant making travel apart of our family life. I aim to give them as many experiences as possible. Living a “normal” life isn’t in my nature; I crave more and want to keep experiencing it all with the people I love.
